Art and architecture integration project located on the Savoie Street side for La Grande Bibliothèque Nationale du Québec in Montréal.

Shapes of people walking are etched on three of the building’s window panes. The phrase “Vous êtes ici” [You are here] is etched on the middle pane and lights up at nightfall through an LED lighting system. This phrase, which can be read from the outside, can also be read from the inside in a mirror placed on the adjacent wall. Archival plans of the district are reproduced on the tabletops and indicate our location in different time periods.
