Europe year zero, 2007 – 2009

Presented in Wroclaw, Poland, 2009 and in Brussells, Belgium, 2007.

In a black room, the visitor walks over an aerial photo of a bombed city, lit from below. The city is Cologne. The desolation is captured by this image of the ruins, a typical post-war European landscape and by the human toll, material and political costs of the war rolling down the wall facing the viewer, like the closing credits of a film.
