Impression on film, acrylic, steel and LED lights

The word “aujourd’hui” [today] serves as the background for superimposing various photomontages. The large-sized letters are cut in a steel panel painted and lit to make them stand out.

The two sides of the overhang conserve their original function: two lit panels where words can be written. The two opaline acrylic panels have been replaced by two photographs of a blue sky like we see in Quebec, in both winter and summer. But, it’s no longer about writing the usual information. The text superimposed on these images are quotations selected by the authors of the pieces being performed.
