Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, AURA, 2011
Color print, wood, LED lights
Installation of an illuminated work in the circular casing of the theatre lobby. The harmonious composition, both symmetrical and organic, is reminiscent of the great chandeliers of the theatres of the ages. A decagon whose composition has a strange resemblance to that of the stained glass in some cathedrals and the domes of sacred places, which are meant as the universal expression of the sky and the infinite. What is designed in this light box is in fact an interpretation of the cross-section of human DNA.
